Riveting
Since the chassis is completely disassembled i have to rivet it back together.
For riveting I made this tool based on a thread on g503 forum website.

You can download the CAD drawing here.
These guys form Iceland made this video on youtube about it.
The process is falling and rising, the rivet's temperature must be good, and the tool should be at the correct height for the hole to be sounded, if you do not do this, the rivet will be skewed. Small rivet (5/16) can be heated in a small oven (from a blacksmith) The larger rivets (3/8) must be heated with a blowing torch.
The hydraulic press i use can deliver 20 tons of pressure, so care should be taken. This press was available, 10-12 tons also seems to be sufficient.
The tool is customized for this press because it was available, you can use any other press as long as the pressline's line corresponds to the tool's headline.
The press contains an iron rod of 35 mm in which the head of the rivet is rotated on the lathe, it is interchangeable with a 5/16 or a 3/8 variant. The counter heads are interchangeable and have different heights to fit into the chassis.
